LEOT Testing Announcements

Thank you for your interest in becoming a Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) Liquor Enforcement Officer Trainee (LEOT).  Information regarding a specific selection cycle can be found below.  Applicants are required to submit a new application for each selection cycle.  Please be advised that LEOT selection procedures and timeframes are subject to change at any time based upon the needs of the Department.

Selection Cycle – 4009

Applications submitted August 1, 2021 – October 1, 2021

Eligible applicants who submitted an application during the 4009 cycle have received additional communication regarding self-scheduling a written examination.  The written examination for the Liquor Enforcement Officer Trainee is available now through November 5, 2021.  Oral examinations are tentatively scheduled for December 11 – 14, 2021 in Harrisburg, King of Prussia, Pittsburgh, Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.  Following the conclusion of the oral examination, applicants will be placed by final ranking on the 4009 eligibility list.

Please be advised that if you have already participated in the written examination for the 6015 Cadet selection cycle, your score will be applied to the 4009 LEOT cycle.  

 

Selection Cycle - 4008

Applications submitted January 6, 2020 – February 16, 2020

Written and oral examinations for the 4008 selection cycle concluded in September 2020. 

Applicants ranked in the top 150 were referred to the polygraph examination in October 2020, for possible placement in the March 2021 LEOT class.  Applicants ranked 151 through 400 were referred to the polygraph examination in March 2021, for possible placement in the August 2021 LEOT class.  The eligibility list will remain in effect until it is superseded by the 4009 LEOT eligibility list.
