The Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) is currently not accepting
applications for Liquor Enforcement Officer Trainee (LEOT).
The 4007 application cycle for the position of Liquor Enforcement Officer Trainee (LEOT) opened on January 3, 2017 and was anticipated to close on June 30, 2019; however, the Department has sufficient applicants to meet its needs at the present time. Therefore, the 4007 application cycle is being closed until further notice.
Interested applicants may reapply when the next application cycle opens. There is not an anticipated date when the next application cycle will open. Applicants are encouraged to check this site periodically for updates.
Applications submitted July 1, 2016 to December 31, 2016 –
Selection cycle 4006:
The Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) LEOT Oral Examinations were
administered from March 24, 2017 through March 29, 2017 and have now
Examinations were administered only to those candidates who applied online from
July 1, 2016 until December 31, 2016 and achieved a passing score on the
Written Test administered between January 30, 2017 and February 18, 2017. Oral examination results and final list
rankings notices were emailed on March 14, 2017 to those candidates who
participated in the Oral Examination.
PSP will contact candidates for further processing, in rank order, according to
the needs of the Department.
Candidates who participated in the Oral Examination in March 2017
and did not receive an email notification are advised to email email@example.com with a message including full name and last four digits of Social
Security number. Oral Examination
results and final list rankings are not available online. Candidates are advised to check “junk” or
“spam” files prior to emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Because the Department has an abundance of fully processed LEOT
candidates to meet the Department’s operational needs for the foreseeable
future, it is anticipated that no further processing steps for Physical
Readiness Testing, Medical Evaluation, Psychological Evaluation, or Urinalysis
Drug Screening will be scheduled at this time.
Since qualified candidates receive communications by email, it
is important that contact information is current. To update contact
information, candidates may log back into the application using their email
address and password. Candidates should also email email@example.com with updated information.
Applications submitted January 1, 2016 to June 30, 2016 –
Selection cycle 4005
Candidates from the 4005 selection cycle who received a
conditional offer of employment and were invited to Physical Readiness
Processing will continue processing until appointed to a class or disqualified.
The 4005 eligibility list has been superseded by the 4006
eligibility list. Candidates from the 4005 selection cycle ranked between
501 and 636 will not be processed. To be considered for each new
eligibility list, applicants are required to submit a new application.
The PSP will contact candidates for further processing, in rank
order, according to the needs of the Department.
