LEOT Testing Announcements

Thank you for your interest in becoming a Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) Liquor Enforcement Officer Trainee (LEOT).  Information regarding a specific selection cycle can be found below.  Applicants are required to submit a new application for each selection cycle.  Please be advised that LEOT selection procedures and timeframes are subject to change at any time based upon the needs of the Department.

Selection Cycle 4010 

Applications submitted April 15, 2022 – August 26, 2022

The PSP will begin accepting applications for the 4010 LEOT selection cycle on April 15, 2022.  Individuals wishing to participate in this selection cycle should complete an application at www.employment.pa.gov.  The written examination will open April 25, 2022.  When you apply please carefully review your name and address listed on your application to ensure it is identical to the form of identification you will present at the testing facility.  Unfortunately, if any information is not an exact match, you will be denied admittance and required to reschedule.  In order to request any changes to this information, please contact our office at ra-pypsdcentrylevel@pa.gov. 

Selection Cycle 4009

Applications submitted August 1, 2021 – October 1, 2021

Liquor Enforcement Officer Trainee Oral Examinations were administered in December 2021.  Final results were emailed to candidates on Thursday, December 23, 2021. 

Applicants ranked in the top 150 were referred to a polygraph examiner in late December 2021, for further processing.

Applicants ranked 151 to 302 were referred to a polygraph examiner April 2022 for further processing.
