Advanced PowerPoint - Hyperlinks and Courtroom Presentations 

COURSE DESCRIPTION:  This course is designed to give the student the advanced skills to design and prepare presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint™.  Instruction will focus on using the hyperlink feature to prepare courtroom and evidence related presentations.  Students will learn a non-linear approach to preparing their presentations.  Students will only spend a brief amount of time reviewing the basic PowerPoint features.  Students are strongly encouraged to enroll in the Basic PowerPoint class prior to applying.

INSTRUCTIONAL HOURS:  1 Day / 8 Hours

INSTRUCTIONAL OBJECTIVES:  After completion, the student will be able to:

  • Create a new slide show presentation using the hyperlink feature
  • Navigate through a PowerPoint in a non-linear approach
  • Learn how to enhance the visual impact of your presentations
  • Create courtroom presentations with enhanced graphics

COURSE COMPLETION REQUIREMENTS:  Full attendance and completion of hyperlinking PowerPoint.  The students will also be required to complete a knowledge check.

AUDIENCE:  PSP Personnel, MP, LEO, LCE

PREREQUISITE(S):  None.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  This course is designed for the user who is already familiar with the basic functions of PowerPoint.
